• Stand with a straight posture keeping your feet 15 inches apart from one another.
• Lift your hands in front till they level with your shoulders. Interlock the fingers of both the hands in such a way that when you lift your hands above your head, your palms face the sky.
• Keep your arms straight and do not bend your elbows. Gradually lift your hands over your head.
• Try to lift your heals up and stretch your body as much as you can in upward direction.
• Hold position and then gradually come back to your original position.
• Repeat the asana at least 6-7 times.
Tiriyak Tadasana

The second asana of the practice is known as Tiriyak Tadasana. Here’s how it is done:

• Lift up your hands in front and interlock your fingers in the same way as you did in the first asana.
• Lift your hands up above your head without bending your elbows.
• Stretch the body up as much as you can and then bend to your left using your waist. Hold position and gradually straighten your waist. Bend to your right using your waste. Hold position and come back to the original position.
• Repeat this asana at least 6 times and then start with the Tadasana again.
Each asana must be performed 6 times each in order to get best results. Once you are done with the exercise, take rest and make sure that you do not eat a heavy meal. The asanas when performed on a regular basis can help in cleaning up your intestinal tract to a great extent. In a week or two, your intestines would be free from all the impurities and you can successfully start living a fresh and pure life.
