Rose petal jelly can enhance bowel movement and prevent constipation. It is prepared by dissolving 100 g of white rose petals in one tablespoon lemon juice, two tablespoons orange juice, two tablespoon clear honey, 450g white cane sugar and 150 ml water in a container. The solvent should be prepared first, with the sugar completely dissolved. After the rose petals are added, the mixture should be heated with continuous stirring till the petals appear to dissolve. The mixture should be allowed to cool and sealed when it is cold. One teaspoon of this mixture daily greatly enhances bowel movement.

5. Colon Cleansing

Colon cleansing products can be taken on a regular basis to keep the colon from clogging. They come in different strengths. Before taking them, a dietician should be consulted to learn to use them effectively.
