The Colonblow is a cleansing product that is advertised as being extremely simple to use and highly effective. The usual dosage is taken at meal times (three times daily) to accomplish one complete Colonblow cleansing. Within just 24 hours it is possible to eliminate waste that has built up over a period of weeks, months and maybe even years. The manufacturer recommends that best results are accomplished with the 3-Pack cleanse kit by utilizing it three times, ten days apart.

Ingredients

While the Colonblow cleansing system has the ability to effectively clear everything out of the system, there are some problems with the list of key active ingredients. The active ingredients include Cascara Sagrada, Fig, Prune, Senna Leaf, Magnesium Sulfate and Psyllium Seed Husks. Unfortunately, those ingredients are mainly bulk-forming laxative type constituents and two of them have the potential for serious health-related risks. Cascara Sagrada and Senna should not be taken by pregnant women, unless otherwise directed to do so by their obstetricians, since they promote peristalsis. This causes contractions in muscles along the intestines to promote movement of waste along the tract, but unfortunately, those ingredients are also known to have the potential to induce premature labor. Also, in the average person, both these ingredients can promote abdominal cramping and diarrhea.

However, since it is a harsh cleansing agent and not appropriate for the majority of people, the price is probably not in keeping with the value to the average consumer. Having said that, if a seasoned cleanser is to take avail of the product, and has used Cascara Sagrada and Senna safely in the past, the value is good for a one month cleanse.
